Maureen Kelly has served as Director of Public Safety since February 2003. From 2000 through 2002, she worked as Associate Director of Special Services, Public Safety at the University of Pennsylvania and from 1998 to 2000 as Captain, International Police Task Force for Dyncorp Aerospace Operations (UK) serving in Bosnia. She worked 22 years for the Philadelphia Police Department in progressively responsible positions, including Lieutenant, Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force; Lieutenant, Homicide Division; Sergeant, Detective Division; and Police Officer. In 1996, she joined the security forces protecting the participants of the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. She received her B.A. in Business Administration at Temple University and an M.S in Public Safety at St. Joseph's University. She is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, the International Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators, and the Northeast Colleges and Universities Security Association.
