Chris Simcoviak is a Corporal with the Ohio Township Police Department. He works as the D.A.R.E. Officer and investigates juveniles and families, and domestic violence and child abuse cases. Ohio Township Police Department serves seven municipalities in the areas surrounding Ohio Township, approximately ten miles northwest of the city of Pittsburgh.

He has been a Police Officer for 16 years. He has spent the last ten years as a School Resource Officer and Crime Prevention Officer. He has worked in the Avonworth School District and with the Holy Family Learning facilities located in his jurisdiction. Avonworth is a public school district and he has worked with all grade levels of students. Holy Family Learning is a school that serves primarily special needs students with emotional issues in all grade levels.
